The Big Sur Jade Festival is held at Pacific Valley School on Hwy 1 in the Los Padres National Forest, 25 miles south of Big Sur, and 40 miles north of Cambria. Festival hours: Friday 12pm-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm

Welcome to the Big Sur Jade Festival, an annual benefit event, completely run by community volunteers. Big Sur Jade Festival features the finest jade artists and gems in the world, and the vendor area of the festival is legendary for the highest quality jade art, and especially for the hand made jewelery from all over the world on display and for sale; it is in fact a jade collectors paradise. Big Sur Jade Festival is well known for it's quality music and family oriented atmosphere, held on the weekend preceding Columbus Day in October of each year at scenic Pacific Valley School on Hwy I overlooking the southern Big Sur coast. With some of the most iconic vistas and sunsets on earth, it is one of the most beautiful festival sites anywhere. Come for free and bring the family, join the morning drum circle, eat some barbecue, and enjoy a slice of the southern Big Sur way of life!
